Event Staff

If you’re looking for a way to make some cash AND get paid to watch some pro Ultimate, one of these jobs is for you! Home game dates are 4/29, 5/14, 5/20, 6/11, 7/2, 7/9 with possible weather makeup date 8/13 and possible playoff date 8/20 at Durham County Stadium. Applicants must be 18 or older. Join our team and be a part of our quest on the road to Championship Weekend 2022!​

SETUP/TEARDOWN CREW: ~5-6 people per game (Arrive 3 hours before game and 1 hour after.) Unload gear, hang banners, set up tables, tents and signs, set up merch tent and displays, place all flags/directional signs leading into the venue, fill water coolers, set up gate and pylons. You’re welcome to stay and watch the game once everything is set up and just be ready to roll once the game ends. Teardown includes taking down and rolling up all banners, pulling and stacking all signage, breaking down tables and tents, packing up sound system, and helping load materials into cars or into on-site storage. Food and drinks provided (typically pizza or sandwiches, water and gatorade.)

TICKETING CREW: ~4-5 people. Arrive 75 minutes before game time. Gate opens 30 minutes before the game begins. Duties could include any of the following: Use your phone or a provided device to scan spectator tickets, staff the purchase now line (take cash or process credit cards), stamp hands, count attendees. This position usually wraps up halfway through the 2nd quarter. You are welcome to watch the remainder of the game. (Total time working: ~2.5 hours)

ON FIELD LIAISON: One person per game. You're on the sidelines and your job is very important! Keep water coolers filled, shag discs, set up signs that fall over in wind, assist refs, coaches, medical staff or players with on-field needs. Arrive 45 minutes before game time. Done when the game ends. 

PARKING STAFF: Two people per game. Arrive 90 minutes before game time. Stationed at the parking entrance, take payment (cash or via Square app) through the beginning of the 3rd quarter. After you pack up and bring the tent, devices and signs back you are welcome to watch the remainder of the game.

KIDS CLINIC COACH: Two people per game. During the second quarter of the game you teach kids basic catching/throwing on the practice field right next to the stadium. Typical clinic wraps up during halftime. You’re free to watch the game before and after the clinic.
